I'm heading home tomorrow, and i can not wait. I have a million things to do before we leave (and i haven't started any of it lol). I haven't seen my folks since May, and i know they have desperatley missed the kiddos so it will be good to spend the time with them. I'm not looking forward to the drive (10 hr drive minimum...always longer) or the packing of everything we need while we are there. I know Lucas is going to go nuts when we put him to bed there for the first night, as he is the King of disliking change (he has issues with new coats and shoes)...a new bed and room will just competely throw him. I really hope they all do well with the drive tomorrow...i hate doing it..and i hate putting them thru it...but until we win the lottery (and you have to play to win so i'm told) flying is out of the question. Peter's been making copies of all the kids favorite movies so they should have plenty to watch....and theres lots of toys at my parents place for them to play with once we get there (must remember to bring trains for lucas though). I wish we could drive down tonight. When Daynah was a baby we would always leave after dinner and drive the night thru...she would sleep the whole way and we'd get there first thing in the morning. We've tried it a few times with the kids, and they just don't seem to sleep like daynah did. Last time we went down we made it about halfway there before we ended up having to stop for the night. Anyhow..i'm looking forward to spending time with family and friends and hopefully doing a bit of shopping. Wish us safe travels...we'll be heading back on Monday.

I think having three older sisters is starting to have an adverse effect on my son. He's always been into wearing crowns and high heels...and he's been known to let his sisters dress him up as Tinkerbelle from time to time and he does it with a huge smile on his face. He'll even occassionally bring a dress to me and ask for my help putting it on and just the other day wanted a bow in his hair too. He's taken an interest in babies recently so I've been discussing girl and boy babies with him. Today i asked him if he was a boy or a girl....and he said "grl" and laughed. I told him no you are mommy's little boy...you're a boy. "no" replies my son..."grl". He's a goofy little character...that's for sure.
